Hey @IKEACanada! It might be time to fix a few things on your “Bicylce” map, like which bike lane is Dundas and which is Shuter…

@davidkopulos @TO_Cycling_Ped Our colleagues in the Vision Zero team led the charge on the design and implementation. But I agree it’s awesome! And yes, this is a standard and is applied to road recons (toronto.ca/wp-content/upl…)

Hey @TO_Cycling_Ped @BeckyKatz96, I love the narrowed road and raised crosswalk outside the Gerrard Ashdale library! More everywhere please! Is this a pilot, or a new standard for road rebuilds? (A guy can dream...)

@TO_Cycling Quite an improvement. I understand that the project scope doesn't extend further north on millwood, but how should cyclists travelling further north navigate the new configuration?

Visit the Millwood Road Safety Improvements project page to view the proposed changes, register for the upcoming virtual public meeting on February 6 from 6:30 to 8 pm, and complete the feedback survey by February 21. toronto.ca/millwood (3/3)

@cdlseldon @kennethfield @MammothMountain @Steer_DfM Good question…our Toronto Parks signs look great in the snow, but I've never seen them buried that deep!

English

@kennethfield @MammothMountain 😮 wow! That’s a lot of snow. Wonder how many feet of snow our @Steer_DfM wayfinding signage is capable of withstanding? @davidkopulos do you know?
English

There's been a lot of precipitation in California recently. So much that even the #maps need digging out at @MammothMountain. I can usually stand underneath these #mapsinthewild

Construction has begun at the southern end of Woodfield Road to create a new accessible trail connection to Lake Shore Boulevard East. The Knox Avenue trail connection remains open and can be used in the interim. Learn about the project: toronto.ca/WoodfieldMonar… #walkto #biketo

@davidkopulos @PeterLeventis I haven't checked email since Thursday (taking a longer weekend).
My understanding is that they were to be activated Friday. Please send a msg to cycling@toronto.ca and 311 stating which direction(s) you noticed didn't work & when.
Detection may not have been set up correctly.
English

@inHrEye @PeterLeventis Hey @inHrEye, thanks for the new bike infra on Woodfield, but the bike presence detectors at Wf & Eastern and Wf & Queen do not work. Just biked NB and both counted down to 1 then reset. Will they be activated soon, or...? The older ones at Dundas & Gerrard are flaky too.
English

@PeterLeventis They will. The new signals are both non-intrusive (no loops)
English

So @RogersHelps did you insist that, for @Pixar to use the SkyDome logo in Turning Red, they had to illuminate it in Rogers red instead of proper blue and yellow? Unconscionable!

PATH maps get a shoutout: These maps were installed in 2018 and are designed to orientate pedestrians to both the PATH network and the corresponding streetscape above.

First time I’ve seen a PATH map that lets the mole people orient themselves with the real world above

UPDATE: Here’s the latest...Cabinet is done for eve...will reconvene in am to finalize more restrictions. Am told by sources as of now— curfew is off table...also looks like most construction will continue as the lobbyists won that battle. Could change in the am though. #Onpoli
