youtube.com/watch?v=yq_wpz… What REAL STEM looks like! How do architects use STEM? It’s Systems Thinking (TEP-1) to understand the environment. It’s Optimism (TEP-5) to iterate through failures. It’s Ethics (TEP-8) to build sustainably. @iteea STEL standards!

youtube.com/watch?v=iEKTkv… The NRC Framework uses "practices" to highlight that inquiry requires the simultaneous coordination of knowledge and skill—just like real-world professionals. It's about behavior, not just ability.

youtube.com/watch?v=8x4mRF… The STEM gap isn't a lack of interest; it’s an access crisis. To fix it, we need more than rhetoric. We need an Equity-Oriented Framework that embeds empathy and identity into learning, turning students into Societal Change Agents.

youtube.com/watch?v=SvPdPa… Think of STEM like an orchestra. The conductor (the student) calls on the specific section needed for that moment in the project. Or think of STEM as a pulley system; components all working together!

@davidleeedtech the best STEM classrooms lean hard on analogical reasoning. comparing two engineering solutions side by side or two experimental designs forces students to see structural patterns instead of surface details. that comparison is where the innovator's DNA actually develops.

youtube.com/watch?v=kBtTCK… The purpose of STEM isn't just knowledge acquisition; it's application. "STEM Literacy" is using skills to question the world and solve complex problems. Whether for a career or just navigating modern life, these transferable skills are essential.

youtube.com/watch?v=RLpdfI… Why STEM? It’s about preparing students for an "uncertain future" (McKinsey) and actively building the "Innovator's DNA": questioning, observing, and experimenting. STEM isn't just a subject; it's a survival skill for the modern world.

youtube.com/watch?v=FCk44V… Research suggests that 65% of today’s kindergarten students will work in jobs that don’t exist yet. In this video, I dive into the "Skills Revolution" and explore why embedding STEM into our curriculum is the answer to the "Opportunity Myth" in education.

youtube.com/watch?v=0EmgK2… @F1 is the ultimate #STEMed classroom. F1 teams blend #STEM to solve complex problems in high-stakes environments, requiring innovation and agency. Educators, let's look outside our walls. What real-world contexts can make our lessons come alive?

youtube.com/watch?v=_ek0n8… STEM is more than just an acronym (and fun fact: it used to be called SMET!). But what does it actually mean in the classroom? True STEM isn't about silos; it’s about: Interdisciplinary connections Real-world problems Project-based learning

@drakmog Appreciate that, Jaikaran! Using tech together, having the conversations (and modeling) at home is the perfect lab for these essential questions. I think it would be great to equip parents with these essential questions.

totally agree on the daily habit framing. as a dad of three the digital citizenship conversations happen naturally when we're using tech together - not from a one-time assembly. the essential questions approach is smart because it makes kids think critically in the moment instead of memorizing rules they forget by lunch.

youtube.com/watch?v=HRP7g4… We often ask students to "know" things. But how do we teach them to use that knowledge? I used the Learning Transfer Mental Model (Acquire > Connect > Transfer) for a #STEM unit.
