Cruise appears in the book. He and BEE lived in the American Felt Building on 13th street while American Psycho was being written. So there’s a scene where Bateman gets in the elevator with TC. The weakest part of the novel really, until you realize it actually happened

Spent a few days in the French quarter of New Orleans researching the death of Johnny Thunders (I stayed at the hotel he was found dead at) and touring Tennessee Williams’ residences in the hood. There are several! Many great dinners at Arnaud and Galatoire
