@AllKindsWeather Coaches can’t hit .. can’t play defense and damn sure can’t pitch for you .. these are sum of the best of best in nation so it should piss them off to man up get back on track . Damn sure not coaching problem

@GatorScope People quick to put blame on coaches .. a lot of boils down to the players they need to man the hell up get to work .. coaches can’t hit and can’t field for you .

I don’t necessarily think Sully is a bad coach. He’s done great things for Florida and is one of the best coaches in college baseball history. I also don’t put all the blame on him. Florida’s baseball NIL just isn’t where it needs to be right now, and it’s starting to fall behind the rest of the SEC. That said, Sully’s methods that led to success in the past just might not be sustainable in the new era of college sports. We can’t just out talent the rest of the league anymore. Our pitching has been inconsistent year after year, and offensively we have way too much swing and miss. It feels like every year we live and die by the long ball. There’s also a bit of a Dan Mullen situation where he seems very loyal to his staff and doesn’t want to make changes, which might be holding the program back. Again, I’m not saying Sully is a bad coach. I still think he could succeed. I also don’t think Florida will fire him, and I don’t necessarily disagree with that. But at the same time, I do think a change could end up being good for Florida. A young, up and coming coach would take the Florida job in an instant, and a fresh start could give the program a spark and a chance to reset. That kind of move often energizes a program, brings more attention from boosters, and could help Florida’s NIL support grow as well.
