@tomcolicchio Keep in mind that this was the plan all along. Crash the stock market, share prices go down, tech bros ride in and scoop up the shares at bargain basement prices, and make billions in profit when the market recovers, as it has.

@tomcolicchio Tom, please get off this hell site and go permanently to BlueSky. The trolls here are just too much to take.

Comfort food 101! 🤤 Aligot is a cheesy potato dish originating from the Auvergne region of France. Mashed potatoes are beaten together with melted cheese (usually Tomme de Laguiole), plenty of butter and garlic, resulting in a luxurious, stretchy texture. greatbritishchefs.com/how-to-cook/ho…

Duden, the leading German-language dictionary, keeps a database of words used at least five times in the last 10 years. The second longest word in the database isn’t German, it’s  Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, the Welsh village.

@tomcolicchio I agree with Tom re: honesty. If I may, I'll suggest that the finale could have followed the UK MasterChef finales. Judges debate the final 2 chefs pros/cons and then go to the reveal. Would have been better,

There is nothing dishonest about the show.
Pathetica@Pathetica

@JoshAndRachael @tomcolicchio I think the Chef is uncomfortable with the fact that the show is, in fact, reality TV. I am guessing his politics make him wary and uncomfortable with the inherent dishonesty of reality TV.

@tomcolicchio One of the things I like the most about Top Chef is that, unlike many reality shows, the contestants don't diss one another. Even though it's a competition, they work together when needed and genuinely seem to like one another. May there be many more seasons!

@alandaviescomic Just watched Whites here in Canada. Such a brilliant series. What a shame it wasn't renewed.

@Snowden This is an incredibly biased poll. The questions should be "Trump," "Biden," and "Neither Trump nor Biden."
