Big news to share... Job Boardly has been acquired! 🎉 @jasoncharnes and I met as strangers on the internet and started Job Boardly as a tiny side project. No funding, no team, just two people trying to build something cool and useful. Two years later, it’s powering hundreds of niche job boards. But as our time got spread thin, we realized it deserved more attention than we could give. So we found someone who CAN give it that attention. Huge congrats to @nelsonpryan, the new owner of Job Boardly. He’s already started working on improving and breathing new energy into the product. Customers are in great hands. Also big shoutout to @acquiredotcom for helping make the deal happen. And yes, I’ve already acquired my next SaaS. Announcement coming in a few days... 👀

Job Boardly just hit $5k MRR! 🔥 We've now hit our MRR target just 4 months after switching to subscriptions. This last month's growth has been largely driven by the launch of our new Pro tier and features Our next goal is to hit $10k MRR

@MalteLandwehr This is awesome info, thanks Malte. I did about 700 on a new domain over about 2 months and got 400 indexed. Having trouble getting the remaining 300 indexed. You're inspiring me to step it up a bit though.

I usually start with 10k pages. Add another 10k the second week. Then scale up to 50k per week if possible. On a smaller domain, try to start with 1k pages. Anything below 1k pages per batch does not qualify as pSEO imho. The important part is to have good health metrics. If the first 10k pages don’t get indexed, there is no point in releasing the next batch. Another important ingredient is to quickly detect and improve/delete/deindex non-performing pages. And the pages need to be actually good. That is not the case in the example above.

Pls don't do this This is the fastest way to destroy your website authority Blasting the internet with low effort, low quality, bulk content doesn't help you at all.. You might see lots of impressions initially.. but most pages wont rank or bring in any meaningful traffic And eventually google will figure out your play and penalize you.. so the impressions will also go away.. This is a good stunt to go viral on social media, not an effective SEO strategy in any way..
Kalash@kalashvasaniya

it took me 12 million tokens to build programmatic seo for my startup. result? 100k pages ranking on google.

@davidsonkyle Depends on crawl budget.. which depends on DR… Maybe 100 pages at a time to start.. to see how the bots take it.. as they crawl more the budget increases.. and we can increase the output.. And pages shud be useful, quality.. not crap like this
Ajay@AjayCodeWiz

@ayushtweetshere like 100k pages. It will destroy the world wide web. here is the output

Love this soooo much. It's like staring at a beautiful painting for me. It's like watching a beautiful sunset. Like watching the waves crash onto the beach... 🥹

Well, we did it... we built yet another Skype alternative... A little late to the party but it's actually been 8 months in the making. Back in Feb when Pieter posted about Skype shutting down my co-founder Mitya and I decided to jump on it. We registered the domain in March and quickly whipped together and MVP. The MVP sucked and we weren't feeling very inspired. To be honest, at the time I kinda felt like a poser just doing whatever everyone else is doing. So we did what good founders do and shelved in our graveyard of unfinished projects. About a month ago I was feeling restless one day and decided to take another crack at it. Totally locked it and hardly left from my computer for days. Sent it to Mitya to show him I've been a busy little boy and he loved this version. Boom! We started shipping. I realize a bunch of other people have jumped on this already so we're a bit behind but we are absolutely cranking on this now. Already have a few organic paid users (which is wild) and built some really cool features. You can call 200 countries, buy credits, buy numbers (local & toll-free), toggle btwn numbers, call history/stats, store/import contacts, and overall just focused on creating a really amazing UI/UX. I'm super proud of what we've built so far. Honestly, even if we're not the biggest or the winner or whatever, as long as some people use this I will be stoked. I've been an expat for 7 years now so this one is kinda near and dear for me and very fun to work on. I'll drop the link below for anyone who wants to check it out

Skype ceases to exist in 2 months Me and my friends still use Skype regularly if we need to make international phone calls, not online calls, but PHONE calls, like calling US IRS or smth I wouldn't know where else to do that I can't use my phone for it cause would be super expensive Spinning up a basic website that works on laptop and mobile, that charges credits (not free!) and lets you voice calls anywhere probably gets you to $1M ARR in no time I think And there's 100% an API out there that already does that so all you need to build is a front end {brandName} - A Skype alternative to call international numbers worldwide And you have 2 months to build it cause then Skype ceases to exist!

Instagram becomes a growth machine when you stop posting randomly and start using a system. Here’s what actually moves the needle: • One idea becomes 20 plus posts • Your visuals become instantly recognizable • Comments turn into email subscribers automatically I built a free Instagram Flywheel that breaks down the 3 systems I used to scale to 950,000 followers and $2.3M in revenue. Comment “IG” and I’ll DM it to you (follow me first or I can’t DM you)

If you’re on X you think everyone is ahead of you The truth is it’s still just the beginning And the same challenges as always which will never change… Build something, improve/fix it constantly and work your ass off to distribute it
Kyle Gawley@kylegawley

if vibe coding was really empowering everyone to build software we should see a surge of new apps being published we don't the truth is only software engineers care about building software

@weichselbauml Love that idea! We’ve been talking about rolling out some more business friendly features. Totally agree that b2b is likely where the good money is 🤞 I’ve used aircall before too and same it was pretty spotty

What about integration into CRM? Cold calling and follow-ups/phone sales. I think that's where you can make good money with this. Back when I worked as an SDR in a real estate startup's acquisition team we used Aircall with HubSpot. Aircall was patchy a f to be honest. And super duper expensive. x_X @mityasmusin

Canny is forcing me from their free plan to $219/mo 😮 Been using Canny happily for years, but this is more than I pay to host the servers to run Pallyy! Any alternative recommendations?

Call your grandma overseas!!!!!!!!!! In the age of AI, it's important to call a plain old phone number once in a while ☎️ Which is why @davidsonkyle and me built a tool to do exactly that. No frills, but very powerful. Check it out ⬇️
