A three day visit to see and photograph the wonderful Wryneck at Landguard, Felixstowe, I am slowly going through my photos with different areas of vegertation and ground cover. Some will be more up close, others like these images, showing how well it blends in it's surroundings.

@Lesliecater1 As in all wildlife, yesterday I got lucky, but just to watch a wonderful bird is sometimes enough 👍

@davidwalker545 Went back today, had good views but to many people to get a bit closer, then the heat haze did not help. I still think you did very well with it pretty close and crisp sharp images. 👍👍

A few more from yesterday @RSPBMinsmere Island mere hide. I said in a pervious post the Bittern came close, well photo 1 is full frame and it was less than ten feet in front of me. I was using the low window under the hide, so you are almost ground level with the Bittern. Amazing
