Our garden suite in Brampton. Building this for my mother. Was told yesterday by Emerald/portfolio homes that it is into the city for permit approval. Looking forward to next step.

Thanks to Noble for getting all the work done fast to move this process for my 90 year old mother done ahead of time. Now it is back to the city of Brampton.

Engineering firm makes corrections and Emerald sends us info. We get a request from the city for a deposit for grading and permit fee. Paying today.

Getting more emails from the city for different properties... found out it was the engineering firm. 👏

Was told that the city has been paid… but then we get an email from the city. Engineering company put our name on someone else’s house and project. Reported this to Emerald.

Turns out the engineering firm sat on this request for payment since April 12th. Thanks for not communicating anything.

Was told from the city that a request for payment had been emailed on April 12th. Trying to determine who they send this to and why it hasn't been followed up on by either the contractor or engineer.

Called the city . Nothing has been submitted to the city regarding the garden suite. A reference number will be the first thing they see. So why can't we get our OWN reference number?

Called Reema at Emerald. She is going to give me a screenshot of the submission. Let's wait

Called Noble -Harjot is on another call - they say it has been submitted. But they are Not authorized to give me details. We have to call the contractor directly. Would have been good to know the other times I phoned them and spoke to them.

Called the engineer Noble Prime solutions again to ask for submission number. They said they would email me in a few minutes. Hopefully I will get a response sooner than the few minutes the last 24 hours has taken.
