Never before have I covered a story where the interest was so intense - everyone wanted to know what happened to the dog. We saw it disappear into the water and didn’t mention it again because let’s face it, our hearts can’t take any more bad news. And yet here is the best news..

Lot of people asking about the dog who was with these residents. We’ve been told the poor pup jumped into the water before it could be rescued. So awful - but the three residents are safe & these military heroes are extraordinary! To all the heroes in uniform and not - thank you!
