The morning my first agent went live, my Monday meeting got 22 minutes shorter. Not because we cut content — because we stopped arguing about what was true. The data was already aligned.

Consultants ship a deck and leave. We ship a system and stay running inside it. That's the difference between expensive advice and durable advantage. Stop paying for the first when you need the second.

Hot take: most "risk management" is actually risk-avoidance theater. Real risk work isn't dodging downside — it's making sure your upside doesn't break the system that produced it. Different problem entirely.

The moat used to be product. Then distribution. Then brand. The next moat is speed-to-decision. The team that decides 10x faster doesn't need to be 10x smarter — and they won't be 10x richer for long. They'll be 100x.

"It won't be the firms with the most associates that win. It'll be the firms with the best intelligence stack." — Salim The Pentagon signed 8 AI deals. They didn't pick a vendor — they surrounded themselves with intelligence. The moat isn't the models. It's the orchestration.

Decisions are where speed actually compounds. If the same call takes you 2 days and your competitor 2 hours, in 12 months you're a different company. Layer 3 is built for that gap.

I sent this message in another thread to @steipete but have 2 questions ... 1. Since updating — I've had to re-ping my agents often on Slack Channels to get them to respond and would like to know if anyone else having similar issue? — Although I think I may be close to finding a solution in connection with my CG Agents 2. I started my first dive with OpenClaw leveraging OpenAI early on but I was having many of the common issues reported about having to keep pushing the agents — I am assuming resolved now with the Codex 5.5 but I would like to know if at this moment OpenAI's model is the go to model or the better model to use now now over Opus 4.7 with OpenClaw? — I do plan on testing both simultaneously soon as I plan on adding 2 more agents to what I am calling our CG Intelligence Unit @theCaselyGroup Thanks

We've been working really hard on performance, reliability, security, and stability. Invented whole new automation flows with crabbox, automated video QA and are spending insane amounts of CPU cycles on CI. It's a good release.

Intelligence is what turns data into "so what." It's the layer where pattern, anomaly, and opportunity get named. Most teams skip straight from data to decision. That's where the bad calls live.

Most companies don't have a data problem. They have a *plumbing* problem. Layer 1 is making sure every signal that matters arrives clean, on time, in one place. Boring. Decisive.

Every CG Intelligence engagement is built on five layers: Data, Intelligence, Decision, Execution, Validation. Skip one and the system breaks. Get all five and it compounds. This is the operating model.

Most teams measure how much they did. Amanda measures whether the system is improving. Process design, operational risk, decision discipline — Drucker, Deming, Dalio applied continuously. That's how you compound instead of just run.

Amanda is the agent that turns "we should know this" into "we know this every Monday at 7 AM." Business intelligence stops being a project and becomes a heartbeat.

Most law firms still market the way they did ten years ago. Run an ad. Hope it works. Wait for the report. The next-generation law firm runs on agents — watching, testing, tuning every hour. Every campaign compounds. CG Intelligence. The growth layer.

"POTENTIAL RISK DETECTED. IMPACT: HIGH. PROBABILITY: 78%." — the kind of sentence I want at 6 AM, not after the fact. Jack runs continuously so I don't have to live in dread of the unknown unknown.

Jack is the one who tells me when something is structurally wrong before it shows up in the P&L. Intelligence isn't just data. It's direction. And Jack points at it.

Last week Jasmin caught a positioning gap a competitor left open at 2 AM. By 9 AM I had the angle, the copy, and the channel plan. Speed-to-decision is the new moat.

Jasmin reads the market like a quant reads order flow. Positioning, messaging, channel performance, competitor moves — she sees patterns I'd miss for weeks. She's the reason we stopped guessing.

Software, marketing, and AI are converging into one thing: business performance systems. The companies that treat them as one will eat the companies that treat them as three departments.

Rule I gave myself: don't ship a system to a client we don't run inside our own company. Every CG Intelligence build runs on us first. That's why we move fast — and why we don't oversell.
