@mralexlane@talkSPORT Yeah but the owner isn't going to let this opportunity pass. He will strengthen the squad without that transfer embargo that was in place this season and keep the team competitive. Maybe they will lose some games and maybe they will win a lot of games. Don't write them off yet!
@CelticRB22@talkSPORT Besides which, surely Hull are replacing Wolves (bottom team) Ipswich are replacing Burnley (second bottom) and it's Coventry replacing whichever team ends up being relegated tomorrow. Just saying...
@CelticRB22@talkSPORT It's a league and it finds out those teams that aren't good enough. Whoever goes down this weekend deserves it and to suggest Hull aren't worthy of replacing them is just arrogance.
@Darcieboo2016@talkSPORT Hmm don't be too sure. Momentum is everything and they will probably take a lot of PM teams apart. The owner won't expect this squad of players to compete without some good additions so will probably be one to watch...
@talkSPORT Who really cares where they finish? What a fantastic season they have had and promotion is the icing on the cake. They were written off at the start of the season and expected to be relegated and instead got promoted to the Premier League. UTT!
@Telegraph@DanielJHannan Maybe the UK has missed it's chance of being part of a strong union of countries by leaving the EU but why would they even consider talking the UK back? A tiny insignificant nation which will eventually be left behind in the world.
"The debate about going back into the EU is not so much purposeless as utterly fantastical. The people arguing for some future re-entry know that there is no realistic chance of it. But, for emotional reasons, they cannot let the idea drop," writes @DanielJHannan.

@Telegraph Most people voted "leave" because they thought it would stop immigrants but they are still coming one way or another even if it is in rubber boats. Truthfully it wasn't us being part of the EU that was the problem. No political party had a clue how to stop it!
'Since Labour intends to relitigate Brexit, it should stop hiding behind candyfloss talk and tell us exactly which Europe it wishes to rejoin' I Writes Ambrose Evans-Pritchard

@AbdoAbwrady Two different monsters of football 🐐🔥
Messi gave football pure magic and creativity, Ronaldo gave football pure mentality and goals. We were lucky to witness both at the same time 😭⚽️
🚨 La Liga Legends After Leaving Spain Lionel Messi – The Greatest.
520 Apps | 474 Goals | 192 Assists
Pure football magic. Cristiano Ronaldo
292 Apps | 311 Goals | 87 Assists Two absolute icons.
Look at the goat statistics 🐐🇦🇷🩵
@Telegraph Well the "leave" vote was such a small margin that it wouldn't have passed the threshold for a union going on strike according to the prevailing laws but was accepted by the then Tory government led by Cameron. It was really a farce and has crippled the UK since...
Sir Keir Starmer’s Government tried to rejoin the EU single market in what would have been a major unravelling of the Brexit deal.
Michael Ellam, Britain’s chief negotiator, proposed that the country rejoin the bloc’s single market for goods in order to deepen economic ties to Brussels as part of wider talks over the past few months.
Find out why EU officials turned down Labour's proposal ⤵️

@iamaqib14@afcstuff Yeah but he is still a cheat who got away with all his fouls and handballs because the refs had obviously decided who would win the league...
@Squawka What a great signing for Hull City. He always works hard and for some reason never gets anything from the refs when he is fouled. But he keeps trying and working hard and today in the Championship playoffs he got his reward. Go Ollie!
Including the play-offs, Oli McBurnie was directly involved in 25 Championship goals for Hull City in 2025/26:
◉ 18 goals
◉ 7 assists
Topping an impressive season off with the stoppage time winner at Wembley. 😍
@Telegraph This is fake.
It's not possible to uphold women's rights whilst keeping these men happy.
They've decided they are women and are entitled to watch us undress.
What we need was never considered.
The answer is 'suck it up men, women are human'.
Anything else is utter bull.
⚫ UPDATE: Andy Burnham has performed an about-turn on his views on trans rights, as he continues to plot a path to No 10
He was previously in favour of the right to self-declare gender 👇🏻

@OliCtid@_BuzzBrief__@TouchlineX Funnily enough refs are also volunteers; no one forces them to be refs and if they can't take the flak maybe they should apply at McDonald's?
@_BuzzBrief__@TouchlineX Fans and players are making technology almost mandatory. By contesting every single decision. Calling for incompetency or corruption. There's not a single weekend of football without drama. Refs are humans. They make mistakes. Always have. But people can't accept them anymore.
🔋🚨 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪: The ball for the 2026 World Cup needs to be plugged in and charged before kick off.
• The balls have a sensor that tracks its precise location every time that it's touched.
• For the 2022 World Cup, the sensor hanged in wires inside the ball, but now it's part of one of the balls panels.
• The data is paired with 12 cameras around the stadiums to track the precise location of the ball and every player 50 times every second.
• This data is transmitted live to VAR, and will be used to determine goal line technology and offsides.
• The sensor is extremely lightweight, unnoticeable for the players, and the battery lasts for up to 6 hours.
@Chromadera@_BuzzBrief__@TouchlineX No he is very cleverly saying that tech is here to stay and to criticise its use while using it yourself isn't a good look!
@_BuzzBrief__@TouchlineX Give me a ref that actually enforces the laws of the game and does it equally for both teams not the one he has down as the winner?
@TouchlineX Give me a normal ball, two sets of boots, and a referee who actually knows the rules. Stop ruining the simplest sport on earth with unnecessary tech. 🙄
@Corballyred@Rydon_lfc Slot's not the problem it's the rubbish performances by the players. How some of them are still at Liverpool shows the ambition of the owners. A good clear out is needed IMHO and sentiment put to one side when doing it!
Despite the anti-Salah mob claiming he’s the problem and waffling about him not tracking back, the numbers paint a very different picture👇
° Win rate with Salah: 46%
° Win rate without Salah: 27%
° Liverpool score 22% more goals when he plays
° Win rate jumps to 82% when he scores or assists
° Goal difference per game with him: +0.31
LFC are clearly much stronger with Salah starting — even in his so-called “decline” season.
@Corballyred Salah is often making great defensive clearances then busting a gut to get up the pitch in attack. He's definitely not the problem with LFC they've got worse players than him all over the pitch!
