classiness is different from being cowardly and being silent on purpose. he also has the self-awareness to know that he’s the one who caused this mess, which is why he is silent. i don’t even think he thought about what could happen because of the decision he made since it benefited him, so i guess he thought the decision was right while his younger brothers were suffering from the consequences of what he did.
