Maybe today is heavy too. Sometimes we have to walk through circumstances that seem unbearable. Know that God is right there, walking through it with us. Psalm 34:18: "The Lord is close to those who are brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Your mind is precious real estate which needs to be protected. Create space to breathe. Lay your feelings at the feet of Jesus. Leave 'em there. (John 16:33)

We may hide or alter the truth from others, but we can never hide from God. He knows us completely, and searches our hearts for an honest, authentic relationship with Him. Hiding the truth is detrimental and exhausting. Aren't we relieved that we don't have to?! (Luke 8:17)
