🩷 Adopt Betsy 🩷 🐕 Smooth Fox Terrier 🎂 11 years old 💨 Calm and low energy 🐶 Dog friendly Betsy’s elderly owner was sadly taken into care and she was left behind. We swiftly took her in and she’s been her foster family’s easiest ever foster dog! She is the sweetest, most gentle little lady who just wants her home comforts. Betsy is a chilled older girl and loves the company of other dogs.. she’s calm, easy going and loves snuggling up under a blanket. Due to her age, she’s a little stiff in her back legs from arthritis, so she’s taking Metacam long-term to help with this. This works wonders for Betsy, as long as she is supported by pain medication, she’s still a bouncy little bean who enjoys her walks. She walks very well on lead, happy to trot along and doesn’t pull. She is very neutral when she greets other dogs on walks, she has a little sniff and says hello, but is happy to leave them alone. Betsy would do well in almost any home due to her calm and adaptable nature! However, we would love for her to find a quiet and cosy home that would really benefit her as an older dog, where she can get the care and attention she needs in her golden years.
