Always forget how brutal it is revisiting the original Animal Crossing on Gamecube. So many quality-of-life improvements have been made to the series over the past ~20 years so forget you had to do things like having to sell items one by one and mailing fossils to ID them.

@passthemstickss Yeah I think a lot of people at the time were hailing it as a good "movie" game so think that elevated it's reputation. It got me to watch Hard Boiled so I guess that's somwthing.
