The different arcs of ARC, from 2022 to 2026.
If you’re an OG Stellar, these threads will bring back some fond memories.
If you’re a newer Stellar, this will give you a glimpse into what you’re now part of.
And if you’re not a Stellar, you’ll see how we’ve spent nearly four years laying the groundwork, and why everyone will eventually cross paths and interact with the ARC ecosystem.

OpenAI JUST released how people are using chatgpt
each bar in this chart is a billion-dollar wedge if you build the right verticalized, trust-rich AI startup:
1/ tutoring + teaching (10.2%) - people want on-demand teachers more than almost anything else. a personal ai tutor that explains things your way, remembers your progress, and nudges you daily.
2/ how-to advice (8.5%) - this is consumer SaaS for micro-niches: “how to fix my resume,” “how to meal prep,” “how to set up my Shopify store.” every “how-to” is a wedge into a vertical AI agent.
3/ personal writing + editing (18% combined) - 8% of traffic is people asking AI to write emails, 10.6% is editing or critiquing text. this is demand for AI copilots inside every workflow tool: sales, legal, HR, PR.
4/ health, fitness, beauty, self-care (5.7%) - validated consumer wedge. people already trust AI with their bodies. AI trainers, AI nutritionists, AI skin coaches — with a human layer for accountability.
note: btw if you like seeing ideas/trends like this, you'll like @ideabrowser (free/paid plans)
5/ purchasable products (2.1%)- tiny % but huge monetization. people literally asking AI what to buy. the Amazon affiliate model gets reborn here. whoever builds the “AI-powered shopping layer” owns the new SEO.
6/ translation (4.5%)still unsolved. what people want isn’t raw translation, it’s contextual translation: tone, culture, slang. AI that doesn’t just translate but localizes your intent.
7/ computer programming (4.2%) - we know this, but it’s worth underlining: devs want copilots. the non-obvious play is vertical code copilots... Shopify dev copilot, Unreal Engine copilot, etc.
TLDR;
every bar is a behavior that people are already paying for elsewhere. translate those behaviors into vertical ai agents and startups.
the data doesn't lie.

Indiehacking has lost the plot.
There's too many people stuck in a loop of endlessly vibe-coding features, talking about some vague future launch date, wasting time pandering to one single potential customer sending them on a wild goose chase, then grumbling about how it's so easy for Pieter Levels because he has "distribution".
Let me make this simple.
Your goal is to get to $1k MRR.
It's not "to launch" it's not "validation" (too vague), it's to get to $1k MRR. Everything you do should service this goal. Charge $50 a month or more, put a Stripe link on it, and (hard part) get people excited about your product.
You aren't going to win any customers if you're not excited about your own product.
You can't AI-blog-post your way to $1k MRR, you can't "weekly update to the build in public channel" way to $1k MRR. Where is the excitement, the thing that makes people take notice?
Getting from 0 to $1k takes "escape velocity". It's hard.
Random list of suggestions:
- be genuinely excited, if you aren't, work on something else
- use your unique experience to write blog posts that nobody else can, don't use AI
- add free tools to your site that give people a reason to share
- have a gimmick that people talk about or remember you for (remember my moto meter?) who cares if it's stupid, just make it memorable
And stop thinking that launching or adding features or "getting a customer" is the goal.
The goal is $1k MRR.
And then $10k, and then $50k, and so on.

Before you undergo a major life transformation or pivot, you will feel it as a nagging itch. The call comes from within, and it takes a shitload of courage to answer it - many do not. But once you do, everything that is meant to crumble and fall will do so in a rapid, cascading fashion. You will not comprehend the extent of it until you have survived one - and even then, each transformation is distinct, unique.
But just as things come to a halt, and you become comfortable in the liminal space between, something will spark within you. You will recognise it because you simply cannot ignore the momentum it hums with, it vibrates with a quiet urgency.
Before you know it, it will take off - like the most glorious magic carpet ride. The rug is pulled, but this time, you're riding it - majestically, with the wind in your hair.

DBS CEO mentioned to #HR leaders that the premium on domain knowledge will decrease over time with easier access to expertise. What becomes important is lateral and critical thinking to connect the dots which is taught in liberal arts education.

Always a big problem when the senior team has more managers than makers. Exhibit A is @Boeing, where 2 of the last 3 CEOs (McNerny and Calhoun) were non-engineers. Bottom line: it's easier to teach engineers how to manage a company than teach managers how to engineer a plane.

Toriyama: Depending on how you respond to questions your character asks you, this will change your affinity with them. This also affects how they will perform in battle. At the Gold Saucer, you will be able to go on a date with the character you have the highest relationship points with.
Not only does the date scene change, but your affinity will also change who appears in the LOVELESS musical. You will play as actor and actresses in the musical along with your date partner, and for some reason, Jessie from AVALANCHE also appears.
