As I’m sat prepping for tomorrow’s #SaintsFc trip to Birmingham, thought I’d check how things were after 23 games (halfway point) two seasons ago and it doesn’t bode well for this season .. Saints were 4th on 45 pts - 14 more than this season with 5 more wins and half the losses To get to the 87pts of 23/24 season Saints would need 56 pts from these 23 games left - that’s a tough ask, too tough imho - can we see them only dropping 13 points from here on in? The drop off of late has put real pressure on promotion and the January window now ….7pts out of last 18 available is just not good enough to sustain the ambition Tonda has to find a way to reignite the sharp incisive football we saw a month or so again, or the season will be gone sooner rather than later - the return to keep ball crab football has been sad to see
