At least the Taliban know what a woman is.
Benjamin Butterworth@benjaminbutter
Tonight I was compared to the Taliban - a group that beheads and murders women and gay people - for supporting trans people’s existence in society. A disgusting indictment of the assault on LGBT people and their allies. There is no low these people won’t go to.

@EndWokeness just look at all those poor women and children, clearly fleeing War & Persecution.

Let's look at the facts, shall we?

How utterly devoid of the facts you are.
I was right the first time 👍

@Parrotbasher @grumpymunster @MartinDaubney Exactly - not far off the National Living Wage. Nobody is 'living comfortably' on that.

I've been contacted by Craig, an OAP Army veteran of 30 years, who'd love a room on the Bibby Stockholm
Craig is having difficulty paying his rent & buying food, & can't get a GP appointment
Craig served his country & paid his taxes - so he's at the back of the queue #EnoughIsEnough

@MartinDaubney I’m a pensioner finding it hard to pay rent and buy food. Can’t get a GP appt nor afford a gym or days out to the coast. Seeing they now have spare spaces, do you think I could move in.
English

@grumpymunster @MartinDaubney Really? And how much do you think an Army pension, let's say CSgt / WO2, is worth? Certainly not enough to 'live comfortably' on.
English

@MartinDaubney If Craig’s got 30 years in, like me (27 years) he should have no problem with accom and food. I suspect Craig’s just trying to make a political point and is actually living very comfortably off his armed forces pension.
