We all have a genetic disposition that will swing one way or another. For some sub 4 is challenging, for others it's near impossible

@DavidDack It's not fast, but at least it show that you made an effort. Unless you are very old, it should be considered a bare minimum. If you can't run <4, you should keep training before entering a marathon, because you aren't ready.

Is a sub-4 marathon actually “fast”… or just the most protected ego goal in running?

@scyhodotcom @oasis I tried to get tickets for that as a 15 year old after falling in love with DM. Couldn't and so got tickets for Blur at Mile End. Not a bad substitute. Eventually got to see them at Knebworth but Sheffield would've been special (still remember the date to a gig I missed 😂)

Oasis' concert at the Sheffield Arena on April 22nd 1995 is often overlooked for some of the other big concerts the band played They had moved on from the sweaty little venues I first saw them in and were now selling out arenas. A year later they would be selling out stadiums.

@HackedOffHugh Couldn't agree more, Hugh. Former school leader & now middle leader. The magnetic pull towards tech-focused learning is killing other skills & attributes that schools should develop. I see firsthand students with the world at their fingertips, but limited basic skills or will.
