I went to a documentary screening by the Mexican embassy. Limited seats so you had to register. Guy in front of me was on his phone the whole time, constantly checking Shopee and some company of gov agency website?? Why do this?

An ex asked me if I wanted to be compensated for all the support I gave when I pointed out the imbalance of support in our relationship after it ended and at the time I said no, but now I think that would be fair actually.

@A_Smol_T We have a very big embassy there. When I was studying abroad there were a number of Malaysian students studying medicine there on scholarship. Unfortunately their qualifications are not recognised in Malaysia, but at least one of them is practising in the US now.

If anyone wants to help I spent a few hours talking to medical students in Havana today who work at a hospital who said they need N95s or equivalents desperately. I’ve already worked with someone to secure 5,000 masks but 40,000 supplies their entire hospital staff for a year.

I’ve been banned from entering Singapore & was just deported to Malaysia. I asked immigration to provide the grounds for the ban/deportation, but they said they could not disclose them. It’s stunning bcs I stayed there for 5 years & was conferred a doctoral degree on 31 January.

And you know, it's not half bad! The shag is especially easy to pull off if you have a little wave in your hair.

@pukimarx I like the Balai Buku Raya bookshop, which I just saw is temporarily closed. But it’s a curated secondhand bookshop worth poking around. Always interesting talks at MDA and Rumah Attap Library (sometimes screenings here too).
