@tonydotsc @leanstartup I tend to agree with McKinsey that it should be about 10% of resources/attention in innovation (ie, pre-growth options), with 20% in growth and 70% in profit. In most firms it’s more like 2%, 13%, 85%.

@dbinetti enjoyed your @leanstartup session today. I’m working with some companies that need new product help cuz they are somewhat in the dev/decline quadrant of your chart. What do I say to the CFO that asks, “how much should I set aside in 2020 for innovation?”
