@dbinnema Do you know if they're actually distilling, or just making hard seltzer with spirit they've purchased from a different source?

The last version of this had an error so we're replacing it with this updated version. 81 active distilleries in BC that we've found so far. We're looking for more; do you know of any that we missed?

@intothebrew @Weyermann_Malts Brewed two pilots with it. Malt tastes great but efficiency was absolutely terrible. Just did single infusion mash though.

@intothebrew Been pitching 50hl batches at 35c and they rise to 41c. Less of a rise on our 25hl batches.

Does anyone have experience pitching kveik strains at around 68F and letting them free-rise from there? What sort of peak temp have they hit?

DID YOU KNOW that the Pont d'Avignon was never completed because they built half of it on a trial basis and traffic counts weren't high enough to warrant its completion? @BrentToderian

@Ben_coli I was going to disagree with you, but turns out I completely agree. I'm all for weird and crazy things...(you should see my next beer). But don't call it some traditional "style". Just call it an "IPA" and sell a bunch of it.

I am now a mature enough beer geek to recognize that basically all arguments between beer purists (me) and beer experimentalists (also me, but less so) are just a matter of semantics. But it's actually an important sort of semantics. (Important for beer, I mean)
