Today’s homicide of a child victim on Fair Park Blvd. is a tragic reminder of the horrors of gun violence. I mourn the senseless loss of an innocent life. Detectives are working all viable leads to apprehend the person responsible and file formal charges.

Students are walking out out and should continue walking out until Congress acts. Over the summer they should work on state legislature races for pro gun safety candidates ESPECIALLY in AZ, MI, PA and work on US SENATE RACES, register every one they one to vote and VOTE

I really wish @NPR would stop covering mental health as if it’s a path to ending gun violence. Good mental health is great, but it’s the easy access to guns that enables the slayings. The US doesn’t have any more mental illness than other countries, just more guns.
