@dbl_eagle At a certain point the money just becomes too good. Find that offer very hard to be true. I’m sure the bag was big but you can field a good roster with that going to 1 player

@bigbluexpress @BanteredB_ Hard to judge anything on this year…take the starting point guard, lottery pick center and another huge piece off of any of Cal’s teams and see how the team does. Next year is definitely crucial.

In year two at Kentucky through 27 games John Calipari was 19-8 and 7-6 in the SEC. Mark Pope is 17-10 and 8-6 in conference. I’m not saying Pope is going to work out or that this season is going to turn out as well as Cal’s second season did. I’m just adding some context.
