I've had the pleasure of working as the Head Athletic Trainer for @Chas_Battery since the 2010 season & be part of some amazing teams. I still remember the 2010 & 2012 league championships like they were yesterday. Experiences I will never forget.

@TimBDOCI The quality of coaching is poor in the USA because there is a rush to put on courses and get people thru. No oversight or standards after the course. Coach educators who just churn out their number of passes have caused this problem. It is not a profession

That, right there, is telling of the problem.
Domestic people need to be fans of a club, NOT a league (whether MLS is even a “league” is another question).
But there are no clubs here, only franchises of the singular club that is MLS.
Hence the issue.

The Richmond Kickers are the longest continuous professional club in the country.
While this season their record wasn’t great, I wish the club and their fans had a legitimate sporting pathway to the top of the pyramid.
