@mairzo Yes, Dyson fans actively redistribute and circulate air throughout a room. Rather than lowering the room's temperature like an air conditioner, they use "Air Multiplier" technology to draw in surrounding air and project a continuous, smooth breeze that helps cool your skin.

@thewhway @WestHam_Central Would you stay at your workplace if your wages were being halfed but you knew you was good enough to get paid triple that amount? And work at a much more reputable company?

Bowen Instagram post today... Wow...this reads like someone who wishes he didn't say all that stuff the other day to the cameras in the heat of emotion and now looks like someone who's off... How do you see it? I'm worried now.

@WestHam_Central He’s a England footballer he’s more then free to leave he’s far to good for the championship unless West Ham are willing to match his wages a team like Aston Villa would offer he’s not wrong for leaving? He’s not the reason you’ve been relegated your owners are..

It still blows my mind that the same argument about hot weather in the UK resurfaces every year. If you still can’t understand why very hot weather is a problem in this country compared to others then I’m sorry but you are a stupid individual.

It’s pretty sad that just because the UK has 30c we are all supposedly going to die & yet countries like Spain & Greece always get higher temperatures & nobody says anything & they just get on & enjoy it. These people pushing this nonsense need to pipe down & just enjoy this glorious weather, but we know they won’t as they are just constantly pushing an agenda.

@UrbanExplorer00 @JBickertonUK Yes but this isn’t about this type of heat where it’s just a few days this report is what the entire summers will be like 35-40 degree heat 20-30 days in a row it will get insanely dry and musty and you won’t be able to sleep that’s before we talk about agriculture etc

@dbmoonhead @JBickertonUK I am not saying it isn't possible in future, just that it is not needed right now. Yes there are some days it would come in handy, but we're talking 2-3 weeks per year and most of those hours are spent at work where I have air-con, not at home.

@Footbal10293847 @pastalbedo Yes but to live on this planet you will have to have one running in the future right now we’re okay it’s manageable but it’s not something to get to comfy with people always think about this today which is why climate change is so bad.. but make sure your able to have one

@dbmoonhead @pastalbedo Dude the issue isn't the price of buying one, the issue is the price of running one every single day. They aren't cheap to run

@RobertMadness @pastalbedo But it’s not we’re seeing it now massive spike in temperatures this early in the year just for it to turn back to 16c next week it’s the rumblings of a earthquake and then this will just becomes normal or summer will be excessively warm for 30 days straight

@AliceLBronte @acuset857 Unfortunately that’s the viscous cycle we’re entering as the planet warms up everyone will in the uk every building etc will need ac which then further worsens the heat to which we then all vanish.. but climate change isn’t real apparently

@acuset857 If they're not powered by solar (or other renewables) they make global warming worse. Britain is usually only unbearably hot for a brief period each year, but yes it is getting more common. See previous comment about global warming.

@leerobi08433142 @acuset857 Be prepared to buy one in the next 5 years as we are building up to this year on year these genuinely are the last comfortable temperature years left until ac is necessary unfortunately

@acuset857 £500-£600 just for an air conditioning unit that most of the year will never be used, pluss the cost of having them instaled. Sure, there are smaller cheaper options, I have tried multiple, and they are useless

@Luke_the_Lucky @Little_Dhampirx @JBickertonUK Your needlessly making your life more uncomfortable by resisting buying even a portable ac unit second hand when you will quite literally have to in 20 years make the next 20 summers better for yourself 😅

@Argorash @JBickertonUK Yes the climate change that is causing the random spike in heat and then a 14 degree drop by next week, essentially why not just buy ac now when in 15-20 years you’ll Be forced to anyways

@JBickertonUK Pointless. We rarely get a summer lasting longer than 2 weeks. People are buying portable units to cover those rare occasions. AC installations are all over Eastern Europe. Also, older houses are built to stay cool in the summer and retain heat in the winter.

@JBickertonUK I live in a ‘protected’ area, so can’t have anything that does not look historically accurate. No plastic doors, no ugly AC units for a week or 2 of hot weather.
