@dboliviaa

I do cloud stuff and I really like PowerShell. Also motorcycles, bull terriers, and smelly cheeses.

@WindosNZ We can't use .LINK in our case but I do like .NOTES. As long as its outlined somewhere in that block.😁

#PowerShell folks! You have a module, it's gorgeous. You have comment-based help for each of your functions (nice!) But some of your functions call other functions in your module. Do you reference these in the help block? If so, where?

Hey #sqlhelp! I have a Perl web app that's throwing an ANONYMOUS LOGON error from Chrome and Chromium Edge but IE and Edge work fine. Has anyone seen this before?

@dboliviaa Finally, if you would use Out-HtmlView you would be able to save to Excel, PDF, CSV :-) Granted you need PSWriteHTML for that.. but it's worth it ;)

@PrzemyslawKlys Agreed. I should have defined the properties in order in Format-Table instead of Select-Object.

@dboliviaa Since PSCustomObject has only fields you have defined you can skip Select-Object and use Format-Table directly. You can also consider removing Where-Object if you're into speed.

@dboliviaa Since we're not assining [PSCustomObject] to any variable it will be pushed up to the $axResults array.

@dboliviaa Stop using +=. Use [PSCustomObject] type rather than New-Object. Remove Aliases (this part can be automated by usign vscode auto alias fix)

@dboliviaa Wait sorry, I think I’ve misunderstood your question. Are you saying you see part of a conversation and want to see the rest of it? Or do you want to periodically refresh the hashtag to see what people are asking?

Can anyone tell me how to follow a tweet thread on Twitter? There's a few questions on #sqlhelp I'd love to see the answers to when comes up. Do I just reply to the tweet?

@JeffEdmunds Are you running Windows Server? Any chance that pesky 'IE Enhanced Security Configuration' is the culprit?

@AirborneGeek I just installed Chrome and the Upload button worked fine. I definitely think it's a security setting in IE that's causing the issue but I don't know what it would be. Not sure if they'll let me keep Chrome on that box once the server goes live, so hoping to find the culprit. :)

Trying to publish a new report to SSRS 2016 using the Upload button on the web portal, via IE 11. It lets me browse to and select the file and then does nothing. No error... nothing. Saw one post where "restoring settings" in IE worked, but not what settings. #sqlhelp

Ah. Filter out those pesky individual core stats and all is well again. Does my #PowerShell return the same values as the #vSphere GUI? No. But we're close! @PowerCLI I adore you.

vSphere CPU Demand metric. Why must you fight me. Our VMs don't need 3x the CPU they have now. You're lying. Staahhpp.
