The argument may rest in productivity, but it accounts for 13% of employment. While highly productive, the justification of such gross consumption falls flat because productivity means that you'd require less relatively to sustain the workers because less are employed in prod.

This statement is funny because the americans consume a lot of products relative to their production globally, while 80% of their economy largely accounts for the service industry. This amounts to appropriation. So now the question is, what determines the means of subsistence?
