Holocaust Remembrance Day serves as a reminder of the atrocities committed during the Holocaust. It is a day to honor the six million innocent lives that were lost and to reflect upon the depths of human cruelty.

Recapture is such an important issue for our communities because all of the school districts in House District 70 are “recapture” districts, meaning we all send a portion of our local property tax dollars back to Austin to support public education across Texas.
