@OmarKelly Glad we’re on the same page, he’d toughen them up. Plus the opportunity to shove it up the bills ass gotta be enticing haha

@OmarKelly Would McDermott interest you as an option for Miami?
English

@OmarKelly Omar who made the decision for him not to work with any trainers? Did it have anything to do with the hip injury he sustained at the end of last season? Also when you said he lost his fastball was that a physical thing or was it he lost his drive “eye of the tiger”?
English

@flasportsbuzz I agree with all your points but the idea of McDaniel with a different qb, yes Ewers has looked good in first half’s. We’ve also seen 5 qbs other than Tua play in mcdaniel’s system and it hasn’t operated well. Huntley looked solid last night, was awful for Miami.

NEW: My 10-step plan for Stephen Ross

What the Dolphins owner should do and should not do when he's done celebrating today's win and turns his focus to saving the franchise.
English

@GhostOfAdamGase Disagree being upset about a loss, not mad but don’t want Ross to be persuaded to keep McDaniel. IMO you can put anyone at QB, McDaniel is gonna hold this franchise back. Would hate the opportunity at an experienced coach who could take them to the next level
English

If you’re mad about a win, you’re a loser.
For actual fans here’s my 5 takeaways:
1) McDaniel has a serious stubbornness that proves he can’t change - especially red zone play calling - it was bad (again)
2) penalties and undisciplined football (again) lands on coaching
3) Ewers operated the offense nearly identical any QB has all season - mikes playbook simply isn’t that good and can be operated at a basic level
4) defense played good glad to see these guys still playing hard and balling for their team
5) our DB room is set next year if we bring back rasul, jones, Minkah, and KadeR one of the few groups that’s really good on this roster

@flasportsbuzz Every year they say the schedule is tough, but you never know what each team is like until the season actually starts. Bengals were without their big 3 in tact most of the season, were obviously a different team with them together.
English

This 2026 schedule is awfully difficult. And with the Dolphins' cap crunch about to force jettisoning of good players, it's hard to escape an ominous feeling, even though 1-year turnarounds are becoming more commonplace.

NEW: Dolphins on verge of being forced to play rematches against 2 teams that drubbed them. 2026 schedule nearly set: here's a look miamiherald.com/sports/nfl/mia… And our usual Monday smorgasbord of notes, grades, playing time changes. How Wease, Marshall etc. did in auditions of sorts
English

@stclaudeii Seems like a coaching issue, but let’s put it all on the qb bc why not
English

@stclaudeii Think the long term affects of his extensive injuries have taken their toll. 2 ankle surgeries in college, dislocated hip, torn ligament in his hip last season, and the many many concussions. Not sure the study needs to be that deep

@GhostOfAdamGase Arm punt? 3rd and long why we freaking out here

I'd like to see more physicality in run game in specific situations (short yardage, red zone) and overall
Dan Caypull@dcaypull63
@chrisperk Agreed, I think that comes from being able to pound the ball up the middle is the key. It will add more ppl to the box and that is a more sustainable formula for success
