Many folks here raised hands when asked if they containerized classic Java apps. How many deconstructed first or modernized out of legacy app servers? No hands. Here's some of the "from --> to" suggestions, and what's in a modern platform.

At #GartnerAPPS, I'm learning from Anne Thomas who's looking at app modernization practices, dashboards for tracking debt, modern architectures, and more. She's saying what I say: modernization is a lifestyle, not a project.
