Today my brilliant older brother, 9/11 hero & Nassau County Detective Erick Contreras passed away after a short but valiant battle w/cancer. He was born on our mother's 28th birthday, and died on our father's 88th birthday. Erick conquered the last enemy: death. I ❤ you forever.
