Last night I had a long talk with a friend: Her mom got fired from her job because of racist harassment. She’s extremely stressed right now, especially since she hasn’t found a new job yet. She owed $11,719 in taxes, has already paid $4,000, and there’s still $7,719 hanging over her head. I’ve been in that same heavy pressure situation before. So this weekend, I’m stepping in to pay off the remaining balance for her mom by cashing out part of my portfolio. I just want to share this story, for clout or to frame myself as anything special. I’ll post a screenshot of the receipt this weekend once it’s done. 👍

Field guys love to complain about engineers/engineering designs and how they would “do things better” while doing almost nothing whatsoever to uphold their end of the bargain. There is no specimen this is more true for than the junior field technician.

After a year working on $Selfie, I can say: Maintaining a community is not easy at all; it requires a lot of effort and time from your life.
