Tocchet learned at 11:40pm Thursday that the Flyers were playing tonight? That’s absurd. How do you even have time to gameplan?

Time to revisit the "Ohtani Rule." Why do the Dodgers get to carry an extra pitcher when Ohtani is making regular starts in the rotation?

My USA lines going forward: B. Tkachuk-Eichel-M. Tkachuk Boldy-Nelson-J. Hughes Guentzel-Matthews-Keller Miller-Larkin-Thompson Trocheck Q. Hughes-McAvoy Werenski-Sanderson Slavin-Faber Hanifin Hellebuyck Oettinger Scratched: Connor & LaCombe On flight back to BOS: Swayman

As far as I can tell, there isn't one second of Olympic video highlights on any of the NHL's digital platforms. I still don't understand what the NHL gets out of participating. Plenty of risk. But not much tangible benefit. The games are awesome, certainly. But cui bono?

Lindsey Vonn’s second training run improves by more than two seconds from Friday 👀📈 (via @NBCOlympics)

Here’s my question on this play: We have all these rules for what constitutes a catch: Must make a football move, must survive the ground, must take a third step, etc. In this instance, if the Denver defender didn’t come up with the ball and it ended up the ground instead, it would have pretty clearly been ruled incomplete, not a fumble. Right?

Mika Zibanejad has scored two hat tricks in 16 days. Absurd. 🔥

Who does #SteelerNation want as their next Head Coach?

Statement from the NFL on the situation involving Steelers WR D.K. Metcalf, who threw a close-fisted punch at a fan sitting near the front row. “There was no flag on the field, so New York cannot weigh in with regard to a potential disqualification.”

At the end of #PITvsDET, the ruling on the field was: A completed catch, a backwards lateral, and a touchdown by Detroit. There was a flag thrown for offensive pass interference. The clock was at 0:00 when the touchdown occurred and because the penalty was committed by the offense, the game is over and the touchdown does not count.
