@amhtpharmd Thankfully, ANNEXa-I pts w/ ≥1 dose of *any* chemoprophylaxis w/n 30 days had equivalent TE rates: AA (n=9; 4.9%) vs UMC/PCC (n=9; 4.8%) [far less than expected post-ICH rate of ~7%]. In fact, were DVT/PE combined, AA’s 2 VTE events sig < UMC/PCC’s 8 (p=0.012; Fisher’s exact).

@FH_Verbrugge Was there a strong rationale behind giving 3 g MgSO4 in ADVOR? A new JACC HF paper also gave Mg with their acetazolamide and has me wondering if there is a reason (jacc.org/doi/epdf/10.10…). I don't empirically start supplementation when using acetazolamide.
