Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today held a virtual meeting with Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), H.E. Ms. Deemah Al Yahya. The exchange explored potential collaboration in developing practical tools to support digital economy policymaking for ASEAN Member States, including the utilisation of DCO’s Digital Economy Navigator to benchmark digital readiness, identify policy gaps, and assist governments in prioritizing targeted reforms. The discussion also covered promotion of responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) including through the AI Real Toolkit, and potential engagement with ASEAN’s relevant digital sectoral bodies, particularly ASEAN Digital Senior Officials' Meeting (ADGSOM), to support inclusive and resilient digital transformation.
