Yesterday our CEO, @neurd_, got to pitch & demo the Ontologic platform at the @medialab 2023 Spring meeting! It was a great opportunity to present alongside & mingle with other @e14fund portfolio companies & Media Lab researchers, all working on incredibly cool projects 👩‍🔬 🔬 🧠

A company I angel invested in at the pre-seed went public last week. Although that should be something to celebrate, somehow the math is not working out in my favor. I'm feeling grumpy about the whole experience, angel investing is hard. Now, I've retreated to my fishbowl🐟

@martinmbauer In the context of a college/grad course? It would feel super infantilizing. Your students are adults and chose freely to go to lecture. If the goal is discussion, I’ve had great results as a student & TA with 2-5m breaks to discuss a challenge question on what was just introduced

How would do you react to a rule that disallows to bring screens into a lecture (laptops, smartphones)? Do you think it would increase attention and foster discussion? Would it be inappropriate, infantilizing? Mainly interested in the opinion of students
