Yesterday, we celebrated the first cohort of scholars in the Wells MS Barber Education Program as part of our SEM Programming. These scholars learned technique from professional barbers around the DMV and are strongly considering the profession as a career! #WellsStrong💪🏾💪🏼💪🏿

DCPS CTE students from @BallouCareerEd (@BallouDC) and @RooseveltCAA participated in the Local 2024 ProStart Management and Culinary Arts Competition. Roosevelt HS took first place and will compete at the National ProStart Invitational in April with students from 50 states.

Today @CMLewisGeorgeW4 spoke with scholars in Ms. Beer’s Principles of Gov. and Public Administration @NAFCareerAcads course. The questions students posed dealt with public transportation, gentrification, the city budget, and a host of other issues. #BeFutureReady

Today our @NAFCareerAcads AOHS Colts were visited by Deputy Medical Examiner Kristinza Giese, M.D. of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of Washington, D.C.! Students learned about real-world forensics and how they apply to their @PLTWorg course work. Thank you @GwRodham!
