this is such an insane take btw. i understand festivals (and have been to many others) to know what the bare minimum accommodations are and this festival didn’t even have that if i’m honest.

like do not piss me off when it comes for fighting for my friends/myself to get just the bare minimum accommodations so that everyone is able to enjoy the event to fullest. the ableism that i’m seeing and experienced yesterday is disgusting.

i also just don’t think all of you understand what it’s like. you can’t go with a big group of friends, and if you’re even more unlucky your +1 will be sent off the platform too. granted there even is a proper platform that also has a view that is somewhat worth the ticket price

mind you. the staff tried to put my friends with accommodations in a fenced in corner with horrible visibility. it was essentially a cage. no lifted space and they simply allowed other goers to block the view even more. it was a throw away corner for those with disabilities.

trying to figure out ada accommodations from this venue was quite frankly the hardest thing ever. they weren’t answering emails, staff were clueless about everything surrounding ada accoms, and you couldn’t even call the ada viewing platform a real viewing platform. it was -

@l12950d weren't trampled in the run in, after we were told that there wouldnt BE an unsafe run because they needed to check peoples bags. They did not check anybody bags.
The merch stand crossed the only accessible walkway for wheelchairs on the way to ADA, and ATT early blocked us out
