Today, @Henryyinn is joining @naturalpay. I first met Henry when he was starting @thinkwithmark. When I saw Mark for the first time, I remember thinking: “Wow. This is original, creative, and really well-executed.” A testament to Henry and his co-founder, @EasonTang23. So you can imagine my surprise when I found out they were still undergrads at USC. I reached out because at that point I knew I had to meet the two of them. At the time, I was still deep in the idea maze, trying to figure out what I wanted to spend the next decade of my life building (easily the most agitating period of my life). Henry was still building Mark, so we stayed in touch and went our separate directions. Over a year later, Henry messaged me saying he was in SF and asked if we could meet. He came by the office, and his energy was undeniable. He had this infectious optimism, a genuine curiosity about the world, and a clear desire to be the best. He stayed for the next few days to do a work trial, which turned into him joining the team for the summer. We’ve rejected every intern request we’ve ever gotten. Henry is the one exception. I see in him a better, more capable version of myself at 21. And I’m really excited to have him on this journey with us. He’s already taken one massive project end-to-end that’s launching in a couple weeks, and he’s got a lot more on the way. natural.co/blog/why-henry…

we rented a 1000sqft studio in LA to build out the entire physical AI deployment pipeline open-source @interlatent We have the whole summer to research and implement the whole post-model stack: inference / compute provision automated evaluation reward modeling real-2-sim-2-real RL in the real world RL in a world model observability

i own 0 A100s but i can run cloud inference with sub 80ms network latency by renting one in Kansas (0% action queue starvation) this is an early checkpoint of smolvla trained on 50 episodes for ~20k steps. now the goal is to improve on this with 0 expert demonstrations using RL
