This is a pretty tough print, Its a thin wall hollow TPU column 300mm tall. It starts getting floppy at the top. I'm really proud of how well the machine I designed an build myself over still years ago still performs. P.S. Same print times, and the filament is dry.

I had such an incredible time at @RAPID_Event and @rmrrf last week. I've never done 2 intense events in a row like this but somehow kept up energy (read: running on pure adrenaline). I really enjoyed meeting up with old friends and making new ones!!

@josefprusa @MaverickTse I've only had rep-reps or Prusa's but in my option the XL is amazing and worth the extra money in every regard. 4.5 years of printing on my MK3, I replaced the hotend a couple times but everything else was stock. Paid $750 for it, still sold it for $250. x.com/dddpworld/stat…

We are still waiting when those companies match the waste efficiency of the good old trusty MMU3 😇 Even after merging all our strategies over the years. And last time I checked the MK4 + MMU3 is faster in multi-color than the hype 😬 Ad price, this is the real cost to make things with no subsidies, no tax breaks and decent wages 🙏

I was hoping to get a better video but we had to ship it out the door. This has been my project for over the last year. We built, and I designed everything but the coilers. This isn’t even the biggest tube it can run and it’s not close to max speed. 450 and a 350 hp motors. 💪

@dddpworld We used to use a filament called t-glase that had a great somke effect. This k is was just PET without the G. Not even sure if its still around. Back when 3mm nozzles were cool.

@dddpworld People are saying they top mount the filament. In my experience there's no need. I feed it from the floor where my filament dryer is and just let it flop over the side of the printer. Works fine.

Anyone else have issues printing TPU on the XL? I’ve done small prints before but now printing larger area and layer heights it just can’t pull it through the Bowden, which is a bit disappointing…

@drewrog @GreenGate3D I’ll have to try that out. I found some transparent gray but it definitely gray. I need black that lets a little light through.

@dddpworld No problem in the core one... yet. I havent fed it through the MMU, only through the side bypass (which I hate using, because the machine wants too many things to go back to using the MMU... INDX cant come fast enough)
