@d187x @AbdulElSayed My guess is she doesn’t take Medicare because they do not reimburse for tele-health, most mental health facilities utilize tele-health. Why it was removed as a covered benefit, I do not know since it serves the geriatric population.

@d187x @AbdulElSayed Private insurance has so many variations open networks closed networks. Medicare is the same. You can have regular Medicare or you can have Medicare advantage, which is basically private insurance. Medicare is very widely accepted by most providers and facilities. No telehealth.

@ddlv222 @AbdulElSayed A lot of places do not take Medicare for the reason they negotiate the prices so far down, the hospital does not make money so they don't take it. Do you want to be forced to go to a Dr who takes Medicare or the Dr of your choice?
