#prt "To those who say that DAY6 only makes mainstream music" 🐰: We (DAY6) actually think about this a lot. 'What does it mean to be public friendly?' We didn't write songs like 'You Were Beautiful' or 'Time of Our Life' thinking they would have mass appeal so we’ve wondered 'Why do people like them?' The answer we thought of among ourselves was that we have never once thought about what is 'public friendly' and we questioned 'If we released something because we thought it was public friendly, would it actually become popular?' ​We released those songs because we wanted to show what we could do best at that moment and people just happened to like them. We don't even know what 'public appeal' is. (laughs) Even if someone told us to do it, we wouldn't know how so we plan to continue working [our own] way in the future.
