The SINKING SHIP checklist : Run this before you ship anything built with AI. SECURITY [ ] No API keys or secrets in frontend code [ ] Every route checks authentication (audit all endpoints, not just the obvious ones) [ ] HTTPS enforced everywhere, HTTP redirected [ ] CORS locked to your domain — not wildcard [ ] Input validated and sanitized server-side [ ] Rate limiting on auth and sensitive endpoints [ ] Passwords hashed with bcrypt or argon2 [ ] Auth tokens have expiry [ ] Sessions invalidated on logout (server-side) DATABASE [ ] Backups configured and tested (test restore, not just backup) [ ] Parameterized queries everywhere — no string concatenation [ ] Separate dev and production databases [ ] Connection pooling configured [ ] Migrations in version control, not manual changes [ ] App uses a non-root DB user DEPLOYMENT [ ] All environment variables set on the production server [ ] SSL certificate installed and valid [ ] Firewall configured (only 80/443 public) [ ] Process manager running (PM2, systemd) [ ] Rollback plan exists [ ] Staging test passed before production deploy CODE [ ] No console.logs in production build [ ] Error handling on all async operations [ ] Loading and error states in UI [ ] Pagination on all list endpoints [ ] npm audit run, critical issues resolved Can't check every box? You're not ready to ship. The post-launch patch costs 10x more than the pre-launch fix. Bookmark this. Use it every time.

As a developer, you should be able to clearly explain at least 10 of these: - Load Balancer - API Gateway - Reverse Proxy - Throttling - Rate Limiting - Idempotency - Pagination - Cache Stampede - gRPC - GraphQL - Webhooks - OAuth - JWT - Cache Invalidation - Query Optimization - Composite Index -ACID - CAP Theorem - Sharding - Circuit Breaker - Livelock - CSRF - Backpressure - False Sharing - mTLS If not, it’s time to brush up.

25 signs your vibe-coded app is a TICKING BOMB ! 1. API keys hardcoded “for now” 2. No /health endpoint, you just hit the homepage 3. Schema changes live in your head, not migrations 4. Every query is SELECT * and vibes 5. Error handling = console.log(e) and hope 6. No rate limit on auth or writes 7. UTC, local time, and “JS default” all mixed 8. README is empty or wrong 9. No staging env, just “dev” and “prod-ish” 10. One god component owns the whole screen 11. No analytics, just “feels like people use it” 12. You say “we’ll clean this up after launch” every week 13. Env vars live only on your laptop, nowhere else documented 14. Frontend talks directly to 5 different third-party APIs with no wrapper 15. No monitoring or alerts – you find out it’s down from a DM 16. Logs only exist in your local terminal history 17. DB backups are “automatic”… but you’ve never tested a restore 18. Feature flags = commenting code in and out 19. Deploys are done from your local machine with one random script 20. No input validation, you trust whatever the client sends 21. CORS is set to * because “it fixed the error” 22. CI is “I ran it once locally and it worked” 23. Same API token reused across staging, prod, and local 24. Only one person actually knows how to run or deploy the app Bookmark this to defuse today LOL

DARKEST MIND GAMES 1. When interrupted, stop talking but maintain intense eye contact. Most people will trail off awkwardly 2. When someone's yelling, calmly say random digits under your breath: “37... 12... 84...” They'll stop mid-rant, confused. Now you control the frame. 3. When the argument goes nowhere, calmly turn to leave. Pause at the door and say “Oh-and next time? Don’t waste my time.” Then you walk away. 4. Try nodding exactly three times when someone speaks, then stop. That unnatural rhythm makes people rush to fill the gap, often revealing more than they intended. It's how lawyers get witnesses to slip up. 5. Before reacting to anything annoying, run the 3-second rule: Will this matter in 3 days? 3 weeks? 3 months? Most things won’t, and suddenly you've cut 80% of unnecessary stress. The real power move is realizing most battles aren’t worth fighting. 6. If you are a fan of psychology. Follow Me.

I'm going to fire my ads agency because of this Claude skill. Its called Claude Ads a free Claude Code skill that runs 190 audit checks across Google, Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Microsoft Ads with 6 parallel subagents firing simultaneously. One command and it tears through your entire ad stack. Google gets 74 checks. Meta gets 46. Everything consolidates into a single Ads Health Score with a prioritized action plan ranked by revenue impact. The 3x Kill Rule flags any campaign running above 3x your target CPA for immediate pause. Budget sufficiency enforced per platform. Compliance runs automatically for housing, credit, finance, and healthcare. 11 industry strategy templates built in SaaS, ecommerce, B2B, healthcare, real estate, and more. This is what I was paying $4,000 a month for. 714 stars. MIT License. 100% Opensource. github.com/AgriciDaniel/c…

I will never set up skills manually again. Someone open-sourced a single command that scans your project, detects your entire tech stack, and installs the right AI agent skills for everything it finds automatically. It's called autoskills. You run `npx autoskills` in your project root. That's it. → Reads your package.json and config files to fingerprint your stack → Matches detected technologies against a curated skill registry at skills.sh → Installs skills for 50+ technologies: React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte, Astro, Tailwind, Supabase, Neon, Playwright, Expo, Stripe, Prisma, Cloudflare, AWS, Vercel, GSAP, Bun, Deno, Hono, NestJS, Spring Boot, and more → `--dry-run` flag shows what it would install before touching anything One command. Your entire AI skill stack. Installed. Link in the comments.

GitHub:github.com/joeynyc/hermes…
