At 4 am this morning, as I laid in a deep slumber, I was called to action by my wife who had discovered a spider the size of a half dollar in the bathroom. Without hesitation I arose to combat the intruder. Claire handed me the slant board I’ve been using for rehab, and I immediately knew the spider had no chance. It took but 1 attempt to strike down my opponent. I received hugs and kisses for my bravery and fell back asleep with confidence. Have a day gentlemen. 🕷️

👀 In other @CandyDigital news during this supposedly “slow” week, our team worked through a first draft of “the diamond economy” and I was very impressed with their work. Our objectives are to bring the supply and demand of digital collectibles into balance and to provide a foundation for growing a healthy and sustainable secondary market over time for our fans. This remains very much a work in progress but a few key themes to share thus far: scarcity will be strictly enforced on selling premier collectibles in the Candy.io primary market; we will introduce a program to burn fans’ unwanted collectibles for candy.io credits; and we are looking at various auction approaches with reserve prices set by us for candy.io primary sales of the premier assets and especially grails and other treasures. Fans will, of course, have total control over the secondary markets. We plan to announce details in time for fans to make sensible decisions about their assets (so in advance of the Candy.io relaunch and self-custody on June 1st). Stay tuned‼️🔥🤫

👀 While we won’t have many announcements this week @CandyDigital , it will nonetheless be a very busy week. Highlights: 1) we are working to get inactive fans re-engaged before the migration and would welcome help from our active fans;🙏 2) I anticipate the Solana migration will begin Monday May 11th and last for a few days;🤞 3) the cutoff date for active fans remains May 20th and I imagine we will announce what our plans are for the assets owned by “inactive fans” and/or dormant accounts and how we will handle them before then;🤞 4) I anticipate that we will relaunch the Candy.io website on June 1st with exciting new functionality including the ability for fans to use their new wallets, have self-custody, and trade their assets on third party secondary markets; 🤞 5) I anticipate that we will launch some new digital assets for fans to acquire in mid-June.🔥 6) on dates that “I anticipate,” bear in mind we are doing a lot very quickly and want to do it superbly well so allow us a little wiggle room please to make sure our speed sacrifices no quality service for our fans. Overall as we promised, the migration is the foundation, not the finish line. In summary, behind the scenes the team and I will be working very hard to push @CandyDigital up and to the right for our fans!🔥💪📈
