Un projet conjoint du cours de droit international de l’environnement de @de_geraud de @ulaval_droit et de mon cours sur la gouvernance mondiale de l’environnement @pol_ulaval.

Les négociations furent ardues. Diverses stratégies ont mené à plusieurs rebondissements. Mais une voie de passage a finalement été trouvée pour permettre le consensus.

Alors que la #COP28 se poursuit à Dubaï, les étudiant.e.s de l’ @universitelaval sont parvenus à négocier une Déclaration sur la non-prolifération des énergies fossiles! #Simulation #FossilFuelTreaty

Fantastic news from Canada! Yesterday Canada became the 160th nation to recognize, in law, every person's right to a healthy environment (through changes to the Canadian Environmental Protection Act). Only 33 UN member States still fail to do so. Half are SIDS! #TheTimeIsNow
