Pro voucher #txlege insisted on combining school safety and school funding bills with vouchers. Why? Because the issue was weakly supported and could not stand on its on. Now that vouchers have failed the only reason that there is no movement on school safety or school funding is either: Some members of the controlling party in #txlege never intended to fund either of those issues without vouchers (which would be bad), or they never intended to fund those issues ever (which is worse).
