@STsougkranis The foot vibrator, anal name change, and many of the gags in the 3rd ep feel pointless to me. Like they're being weird for the sake of it rather than portraying addiction in an interesting and unique way. When it's just cude joke after joke with no new substance, I lose interest

@STsougkranis Yeah, I can see this show never going deeper than it already has when it comes to tackling addiction. A very common thing to happen with this kind of anime. I will hopefully catch up today, but I still want to check out Sparks of Tomorrow, the other smoking show, and GITS.

@deadredveloz I think the introduction of new characters in the 2nd episode, their interactions and personalities raise it to B tier (will watch the 3rd one later today). I could definitely see someone placing it a bit lower though, for sure, and even me dropping it if it becomes stale.

@STsougkranis I would go lower based on only seeing the first episode. But there really is something deeper beneath the odd presentation. That's what gives me hope it might turn out to be great. Plus, the weirdness is charming.

@Dankness01 It's because most authors fall into the trap of self insert power fantasy instead of actually writing a good story. Or they overlook the importance of world building. From my experience, isekai can only do one or the other well for some reason.

People who say this are so silly. They always seem to lump shield bashing, parrying, throwing, and melee attacks into one mechanic for some reason. You do all that while using your guns too. And now we have the spear, which has even more mechanical depth.

@HelmBreaker21 I loved Doom tda, but the game has lots of problems and one of them is that it does not demand player engagement with the mechanics, you can just perry and use two weapons the whole game, all weapons are equal in power which gives even less motive to switch between them-
