Happy Friday! This week saw the first @DeanTrustWigan Outward Bound trip to Snowdonia, Wales. Groups completed 3 days of activities and had a brilliant time participating in a range of adventure activities designed to build their confidence and develop team work skills. #GNF

Welcome to this week's #GoodNewsFriday! @DeanTrustWigan launched #WoWWednesday, highlighting amazing work from their pupils. Congrats to Nicole and Weronika for being among this week's winners. Pupils visited the Year 9 run stand to pick prizes and collect their certificates.

After our announcement in our latest newsletter we have had our first ever WOW Wednesday! Our WOW Wednesday Winners were presented with their certificate and prize today for producing fantastic work!

Don't forget! The information evening for pupils attending the Outward Bound trip is this Thursday, 19th December, at 4:30pm at DTW. It is important that all parents/carers of pupils on the trip attend the meeting to receive key information. We look forward to seeing you there.

Our Race to the North Pole is in full swing today! Staff and pupils have already managed to cover a distance of 600 miles, meaning we are way on our way to reaching our target of 2,518 miles! To donate, visit: justgiving.com/crowdfunding/d…
