We had a former ECC student, Olivia Ramos, as a guest reader today as we continue to celebrate WOYC. We also read the book Jack and the Beanstalk and then in STEM we built tall structures strong enough to hold Jack and also a giant. #WOYC23 @NISDAUE @NAEYC @NISD_ECE

On WOYC Artsy Thursday, we finished a hot air balloon project by gluing down a painted plate and drawing the ropes and basket. Our guest reader today was Aue’s very own Mrs. Martinez, Ezra’s mommy. #WOYC2023 #ArtsyThursday @NISD_ECE @NISDAUE

Despite the cold, I’m sporting my Go Red shirt today in support of the American Heart Association in honor of my nephew who passed away from congenital heart disease and one of my dearest friends, Michelle Jenkins, who is thriving after open heart surgery. #NISDGoesRed
